Delphi 7 Users

Updates

Delphi 7 users will receive updates to the 5.0 branch as they are released as well as a free upgrade to 5.1 and its minor releases. IntraWeb 6 is not available to Delphi 7 users without a subscription. IntraWeb cannot be updated in Delphi 7 trial versions.

IMPORTANT: Keys sent from trial versions of Delphi will not be processed.

Updating IntraWeb

To update your IntraWeb installation to a newer version you will need to obtain a license key. You can obtain a license key without becoming a registered user or purchasing an IntraWeb subscription.

The license key will allow you to upgrade to newer versions of IntraWeb 5.0, and IntraWeb 5.1 The license key will not work in other versions of Delphi, nor change the IntraWeb Edition that you are licensed to use.

Obtaining a License Key

To prevent public redistribution of keys and allow Delphi 7 users to use newer versions of IntraWeb which use newer key systems a personalized license key will be issued to you free of charge. If you have already requested and received a key, but have lost it please use this form to inquire about your key.

To obtain a license key follow these steps:

1. Download the license key requestor application. (72k)
2. Unzip and run the executable. The executable is used to query your Delphi 7 installation for IntraWeb license information.
3. The executable will prompt you for basic information and an e-mail address.
4. Select direct e-mail, or via clipboard. If you use the clipboard option, you must send your message as plain text!
5. Click Ok.
6. A request will be sent to Atozed Software and a license key returned to you by e-mail typically within 1 to 2 business days.

Note: The executable is compiled with Delphi 7 packages. Since the executable is for Delphi 7 users only, the assumption is made that the Delphi 7 packages are available for use.

What if I do not receive a key?

Check your spam filters! Hyperactive spam filters improperly filter about 5% of our key deliveries. We will not process "click throughs", "reply to's", or other spam tools requiring action on our behalf.

In addtion, the system automatically detects certain situations and rejects key requests based on the following criteria:

• If the data has been tampered with.
• If a request has already been made using your installation of Delphi 7.
• If data submitted is not legitimate.
• If your installation of Delphi 7 is not legitimate.

If you do not receive a key and you believe the request has been rejected in error, please inquire using this form. Please provide details on your request, please do not simply resubmit your request.

What if I have lost my key?

Do not use this utility to request a new key, the system will automatically detect a duplicate request and ignore your request. Instead use this form to request a copy of your existing key.

What data is sent?

The data is sent in plain text and if you wish to see it you can use the clipboard option. The encoded data is at the end and contains information about your unique IntraWeb license which was installed by Delphi 7. This is used to issue your new key. An example of what is sent is shown below:

Is the key locked to my hardware?

No. But it is locked to your individual IntraWeb license which is created by Delphi 7 upon installation.

Privacy

The data collected is used to issue you a license key and assign it to you. The data provided will never be sold or disclosed to an unauthorized third party without your consent.

Downloading

Once you have your license key and are ready to proceed you will need to download an updated version of IntraWeb.
