UTF8ContentParser and IWFile in D2009/D2010

Some considerations about UTF8ContentParser and IWFile in D2009/D2010.

We recently posted a bug regarding the usage of IWFile in D2009/D2010 if you include the UTFContentParser unit in your project.

For some unknown reason, the IWForm that makes usage of TIWFile gets totally messed up, events are ignored, etc. Currrently this bug affects IW 10 and XI. We will fix this bug as soon as we release IW XI and the current solution for now is to remove UTF8ContentParser from your project. For this, go to the project source and remove or comment out the UTF8ContentParser.pas line.
